White House Decries 'Democrat Fabrication' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Released
Democratic lawmakers have released a fresh batch of what they described as "disturbing" images from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The first release of 19 images—a portion of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 unveiled later on Friday represent a small number of the almost 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the conduct and connections of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking charges.
High-Profile Individuals in the Images
Among the prominent personalities seen in the initial batch are well-known figures such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin empire.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
Administration Statement
The White House addressed the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the photographs for partisan aims and to "seek to establish a false narrative."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official remarked, asserting that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging transparency, releasing reams of records, and urging more inquiries into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Panel Member Comment
The photographs were published without context, but according to a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.
"It is time to stop this White House concealment and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he declared in a comment.
The publication of these documents comes as the House panel proceeding with its investigation into the Epstein matter.
